Tiny little shop with beautiful vampire pieces everywhere. I recommend getting a book from their selection. Asked if I could get a bite and wasn't entertained. Still, I'm sure they get asked that all the time. 🤣 🧛‍♀️🧛‍♂️🦇 …

Loved EVERYTHING about this shop. Friendly and welcoming. I bought all my souvenirs here, everyone at work got a Voodoo pencil. And coming from Hawaii, the most expensive state to live in, the prices on their product is very reasonable.

Got my fangs done by Maven Lore. They’re fantastic, I feel so Vampy 🧛🏻 Maven is very kind, professional, and reassuring for those who are a little anxious. I highly recommend! Great experience and communication, and an amazing atmosphere. …

Hey—vampires gotta shop too, right? And when they do, they hit up Boutique du Vampyre, New Orleans’ fang-tastic hub for the undead. Calling itself the only vampire shop in the country, it’s less Hot Topic, more full-on lifestyle. What’s in a vampire’s cart? Capes and cloaks, sure, but also Transylvanian hot sauce (spicy and ominous), books on vampirism, and goth-y trinkets galore—coffin keychains, cursed-looking candle holders, you name it. It’s like Dracula went on an Etsy spree and set up shop in the French Quarter. Weird, wonderful, and peak New Orleans—spooky, kitschy, and just the right amount of extra.

I visited because I'm on a trip for family and I love vampires, so this was the perfect stop for me!! The shop is pretty small but everything was so fun to look at. One of the employees was especially nice (and cute!) and she talked with me a bunch about a lot of things in the store, our favorite books, and more. The staff being so nice made the experience even better than it already was, so I really appreciate that. I also went next door to the café, which was delightful as well. The next time I'm in New Orleans, I definitely want to visit again. Even if you've been to similar stores, there's a lot of unique offerings with the books available and the kindness of the staff makes it worth the visit. Everyone I've told about it has found it as delightful as me, so 10/10 please visit!!

Such a unique and fun shop! After exploring several shops which all seemed to only sell identical, cheaply made "souvenirs", this place stood out as a place to get a truly unique gift to remember our time in the city. Friendly staff and awesome selection.

Without a doubt the best vampire shop I’ve found. If you’re not a vampire but want to be, the shop offers everything you might need after your transition. If you are simply vampire curious but don’t want the bites, this is your place to dream. If you are already a vampire, all are welcome here, after dark of course. One thing that makes this vampire emporium the best is vampire ducks. I’ve reviewed at least two duck shops (Venice and Florence), which had very comprehensive flocks, but neither had vampire ducks. But if you need a vampire duck, this is your place. FYI, there’s a vampire cafe next door. Not sure if it’s for vampires or run by vampires 🧛, or both.

I originally had a fangsmith appointment with Maven Lore, and he was absolutely fantastic—professional, skilled, and clearly passionate about his craft. The experience was unique and well worth it! Later, I visited the boutique itself and loved browsing through all the vampiric jewelry, memorabilia, and books. The selection is perfect for any vampire enthusiast, with plenty of one-of-a-kind finds. However, be aware that the prices can be steep, so it’s good to go in expecting to splurge a little. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot in New Orleans for those who love the gothic and mysterious!

great shop. they have the best charm candles in the region. they are remarkably accurate and exciting to find. we usually order them online, but picking one in person is so much better.
